Thaitails 2026 will allocate rooms at Centara Life and our recommended overflow hotel through an official Room Lottery System. This lottery serves as one of the available channels for securing accommodation.
Due to the limited number of rooms, attendees are strongly encouraged to explore nearby hotels, such as TK Palace, and book directly through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).
Please note that the convention is not responsible for external bookings made outside the lottery system.
The following steps outline the full process for participating in the Room Lottery System. Please review each stage carefully before proceeding.
You must sign up during the 2-day registration period to join the hotel lottery. You can enter as a single registrant or with another attendee.
Optionally, ask your roommate for their roommate code from their lottery portal and input the code into your own lottery portal to complete the roommate pairing process.
Please note that both you and your roommate must be registered for Thaitails 2026.
Pairing with a roommate will result in both of you entering the lottery together. Your pair will count as 3 entries, instead of 2 in the case that your pair entered separately.
Once the registration period concludes, the system will randomly select eligible entries and announce the results at 00:05 the next day.
If you are chosen, you’ll receive a room offer via your portal and registered email.
If your entry is selected, you must complete payment before midnight of the day you receive your room offer through our website portal.
Without payment, your room offer will expire after midnight of the day you receive it. Unpaid rooms will be returned to the pool for the next lottery round.
Choose from our two partnered hotels for Thaitails 2026. Rooms at Centara Life and TK Palace are available through our Room Lottery System, with each hotel having its own lottery rounds and schedule. Please review all details carefully before entering the lottery.

TK Palace offers a comfortable stay just 1 km from the venue. It’s also a shuttle stop and sits right by Chaeng Watthana Road, ideal for quick and easy travel.
Room Type Preference
Participants may indicate a preferred room type (Twin or Queen), but room type is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Full-Stay Booking Only
All lottery rooms offered are only for the full stay duration of each hotel. Partial stays are not available.
No Room Transfer
Room assignments cannot be transferred, exchanged, or reassigned to another attendee.
No Refunds
All completed payments are final. Unpaid reservations will be automatically released back into the pool.
One Entry Per Person/Pair, Per Round
Each single registrant or roommate pair may submit one entry per lottery round.
Attendees not selected may re-enter in the next round.
Duplicate or fraudulent entries in the same round will be removed without notice.
Valid Event Registration Required
Both roommates or single registrant must have confirmed Thaitails 2026 registration before entering the lottery. Entries without valid registration will be rejected.
Payment Deadline Enforcement
Selected attendees must complete payment within the stated time window. Late payments will not be accepted for any reason.
External Bookings Not Supported
Attendees who book independently through OTAs or other channels are fully responsible for their own reservations. The convention cannot assist with external bookings.
Policy Violations May Void Reservation
Any actions which makes the lottery process unfair to others or attempting to bully or harass staff members may result in revocation of room reservation or refusal of entry to Thaitails 2026.
All Decisions Are Final
By participating in the hotel reservation lottery, you agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions as stated above, which may change without prior notice. However, the staff team will do its utmost to ensure that all attendees have the best possible experience. All decisions by the Thaitails team are final.
After Thaitails 2026 registration opened, the team has observed abnormal activities with the registration system. It was discovered that some attendees used software to directly purchase tickets by sending a large number of API requests.
Despite having rate limits implemented to mitigate the issue, the team reviewed and considered whether a FCFS (First come, First Served) system is fair to every attendee or not. During the review, other issues were raised such as time zone differences, internet speeds, equipment performance, and, most importantly, the capability of Thaitails’ servers to handle the traffic spike, which may cause some attendees to lose their spots at no fault of their own.
After considering the above issues, the team decided to follow the direction of other overseas conventions and implement a hotel reservation lottery system to ensure the fairest possible outcome.
As Thaitails 2026 will only be on for Saturday and Sunday, the hotel provided us with an extremely limited number of rooms only for Saturday to Monday. The team will attempt to negotiate for a larger quota and nights with the hotel for a better experience next year.
External bookings are outside of our control. However, for your convenience, the team has consulted the matter with the hotel. The hotel has stated that attendees who would like to perform this arrangement should get in contact directly with the hotel, but they cannot guarantee that it can be arranged in all cases.
Due to the extremely limited amount of rooms available, from the quota given and total available at the hotel (which Thaitails was only allotted a portion, not the entire hotel as some were led to believe), in order to maximize the usage of all rooms available, a higher weight is given to those who have a roommate compared to single bookings.
As we are using a lottery system that usually has another upcoming round within 24 hours after the result announcement of the current round, in case of non-payment or offer waiving, the unpaid rooms can be immediately returned to the pool for the next round, without needing to wait or the room potentially not given to someone else.
Attendees with luggage can leave items prior to check-in time with the hotel front desk. Attendees can also use the Fursuit Lounge from the morning of the convention day.
Sponsor tier or higher attendees not staying at the main hotel and wishing to leave your fursuit can deposit it at the Fursuit Storage Room. (Standard attendees can purchase an additional add-on to use the service, subject to availability.)
The shuttle bus service timetable and frequency is currently in development, which will depend on the amount of attendees, hotel guests, and official events and activities timetable. Generally, the service will run from 08.00 till 25.00 (01.00 of the next day). The frequency and drop-off locations will be announced at a later date.
